If there were ever a time to sit down and have a few months worth of creative brainstorming meetings, now is the time Sherwin Williams. Have you seen this logo? I can only assume this branding design was developed well before modern studies were published on how to make your brand stand out.
Who picked out these two colors? I mean, goodness! You’re a paint company and this is how you display your array of colors?
Have you seen the earth? Have you taken any notice to the actual tilt of earth’s axis? I can’t even tell what part of our planet is showing. And why even bother with latitude/longitude lines?
“Cover the Earth”…really? You pick this blood red color and pour it over our beautiful blue/green planet? It appears to go against this “being green” movement that’s been going on for a few decades now. Catch up.
Now…in doing a search for this awful logo that is everywhere on paint cans, marketing materials and store fronts I found this logo below. Now whatever creative team you paid to come up with this one…give them more money. This is how it’s done. Why haven’t you made a global switch? I’m sure people would notice and react positively to the new look/feel of your brand.
Just my oponion.
